    Festivities kick off at noon until 4 pm Saturday, April 12th at the  Embarcadero Marina Park North near the charming Seaport Village in downtown San Diego.  This year's Festival will feature more than 300 of California's finest wines along with food samples from dozens of San Diego's most highly touted restaurants and other first-rate food purveyors. Also attending are local and regional brewers, bread and cheese artisans, even San Diego's favorite bbq'ed meats and the air will be filled with live blues music all afternoon.     "Rare and Reserve Sunset Wine Tasting" This is the toughest ticket in San Diego in April! Only 500 tickets will be sold to this elegant evening event under the stars. Watch the sunset over San Diego bay from the magical Grand Hyatt courtyard setting Friday, April 11, 6:30 - 9 pm. The wine industry's brightest wine making stars come out to pour highly prized samples of their legendary vintages, some no longer available anywhere! Sparkling wines greet lucky attendees as they enter the charming courtyard setting at the super luxe Grand Hyatt Hotel overlooking San Diego Bay.  Rare and reserve level world-class wines by the dozen are accompanied by hot and cold gourmet appetizers, fresh cut fruits and more. Festival Features

100 Wineries: The CWF attracts California's finest winemakers. Last year 100 wineries poured over 400 different wines. For a change of taste, craft brewers will also be pouring their best brew!

VIP Pavilion: VIP Weekend Pass holders have it "made in the shade" with an even larger VIP Pavilion tent. Sit, relax and sip great wines while listening to your very own live jazz pianist. 

Great Food Samples:  Delicious gourmet appetizers, barbequed meats, artisan cheeses, crackers, cut fresh fruits, breads and plenty of bottled water too!

• Larger venue, Longer hours... for the Sunset Reserve & Rare Wine Tasting.

Due to it's wild popularity and great demand for tickets, the Friday night Sunset  Rare Wine Tasting will relocate to a larger venue.  Tasting time will also be extended 30 minutes, to 9:30 p.m. The new venue will provide easy in-out parking and plenty of room!
