CAN I BUY A TICKET AT THE EVENT?
Sell out expected and we will likely NOT have any tickets at the gate. We recommend you buy them in advance online (print-at-home). A sell out is expected. (Save $10-$20 per ticket on advance purchases). Email for group rates info@californiawinefestival.com (20 or more).
WHAT IF I LOSE MY TICKET, OR CAN’T COME?
Our ticketing company allows you to reprint your tickets on their website. If you need assistance with your tickets, please contact our ticketing company. Refunds are not offered, but tickets are transferable to another person.

HOW MANY WINES CAN WE TASTE?
Your admission ticket entitles you unlimited wine tasting privileges. You will also be given a long stem wine glass and program. There will be hundreds of wines to sample. Pace yourself and don’t overindulge! Spit buckets are provided along with lots of water to drink.

IS THERE ANY FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT?
Yes, there are complimentary appetizers, artisan cheeses, fresh cut fruits, breads, and more.

LIMITED SEATING
Please note there is seating in the VIP Pavilion only. The festival is a walkabout festival where patrons visit wineries and food purveyors throughout the event. Please do not bring beach chairs or blankets. The venue does not have space to accommodate these items.

LOST + FOUND
After the Festival, please email info@californiawinefestival.com to file a claim for lost item(s) and we will do our best to match lost items back to their owner. Valuables will be held for 30 days and then donated to a local charity. California Wine Festival will not be held liable for any unclaimed items.

PROHIBITED ITEMS
The California Wine Festival is committed to the safety and security of all patrons in the park. ALL bags will be searched before entry. Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Backpacks are prohibited. Attendees should be prepared to have their bags searched each time they enter the festival and should plan for extra time to get through security. Please do not bring beach chairs or blankets.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?
All festival events are 21 and older enforced by Alcohol Beverage Control. No children or infants are allowed to attend any festival event for the safety of all parties.
ARE PETS ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?
Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

We highly recommend taking public transportation or having a designated driver. The law is very strict on drinking and driving.

The CA Wine Festival Carlsbad takes place on June 20 - 21, 2025. The Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting and Beachside Wine Festival take place at the Park Hyatt Aviara at 7100 Aviara Resort Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92011.

Friday Parking: Valet parking is available at the entrance to the Park Hyatt Aviara for a $25 fee. They will also allow self parking for $10.

Pacific City: Self-Parking Rates - $2.00 for every 20 minutes, $35.00 max at 6th hour. Friday- Sunday the first two (2) hours are complimentary (with a validation from participating merchants). Complimentary self-parking is yours when you spend $250 or more in one day – just show your receipts at valet and parking is free!
Huntington Beach Parking - Park across the street at from Pasea Hotel & Spa at Pier Plaza for $1.50 per hour or $15/day.
